NX Render Sets

Render sets allow the user to format the display properties of different components in different ways. Render sets allow for control of visible and hidden line colors, styles and widths. Render sets won’t change smooth edges.

There are two steps to using render sets:

  1. Define the render set
  2. Apply the render set to the desired views

Note: There are two things that might prevent colors from render sets from showing up in a drawing view:

  • The Rendering style for the view must be “Wireframe”
    • Right click view border + Settings -> Common -> Shading
  • The drawing must not have “monochrome” enabled.
    • In the Part Navigator, right click on Drawing, disable “Monochrome.”
