TECH 6994 – This is my Advanced Robotics project created at the University of Memphis. The scope of the project is geared towards the automation side, so a mockup lathe was used in place of a real lathe. The “stock” piece is replaced with a “machined” piece with a hole in the center. To ensure the quality of the part, the hole diameter is checked using a Cognex camera and either put in the good side of the cart or the bad parts bin.
