Ruled surfaces (“Ruled” command) creates a body between two sections. Sections can be defined by selecting curves, edges or or points. The ruled command creates a surface by creating a linear connection between the two (and only two) sections.
Ruled surfaces can be restricted to create surfaces that are developable. That is, surfaces that can be converted to a flat pattern without distortion.
