Project the roadway onto the contour map (link below). Develop the cut and fill sections, and update the contour lines. Hatch the cut and fill areas with different hatch patterns.
Create layers for the following:
- Border – Put all of the border geometry onto this layer.
- Existing – Put all of the contour map onto this layer.
- Revised – Copy the contour map onto this layer. only edit the revised layer.
